12th Annual A Day at the Lake
July 14, 2006 9am-5pm

This event reintroduces summer recreational activities to individuals who have experienced a life-altering illness such as spinal cord injuries. Now in its 12th year, the event is also open to individuals with other disabling conditions such as spina bifida, amputations and vision loss. Participants must be one-year post injury and more than 16 years of age. Lunch and t-shirt are included.

This year marks the 12th year of the A Day at the Lake event. The help of those in the community helps to make it the success it is. There are multiple levels of sponsorship available. If you have experienced a spinal cord injury, or other disabling condition and would like to participate in the Day at the Lake event, follow the links below to the participant registration and release forms. If you would like to volunteer, a special training will be held (June 25, 2006) for volunteers who want to assist with the water sports activities or for returning water sports volunteers who need a refresher course. To become a water sports volunteers you must possess the skill requirements listed on the Water Sports Training Registration Form. You must also attend the training session and be available to volunteer on the event day, July 14, 2006. You must fill out and return all three forms to:
