What ongoing support services are available for families and caregivers of persons with disabilities?

• Average length of program participation varies by program and diagnosis.

Am I allowed to observe treatments?

• Yes, family and/or caregiver involvement is strongly encouraged. This provides an opportunity for the treatment team to instruct family members and/or caregivers on techniques and principles. Additionally, it is an avenue to educate individuals involved in the patient’s/client’s care on injury and progress.

What should I look for when choosing a rehabilitation facility?

What are your hours of operation? Are you open weekends and holidays?

• Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Observed holidays include New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Where are you located?

• Our main location is at 3011 Baltimore, Kansas City, MO 64108. View Maps. We have satellite locations for Employment Services in St. Joseph, Warrensburg and Independence, Missouri for Employment Services.

What should I bring with me on my first day of service?

• On your first day, please bring your insurance card, prescription and copayment for services if applicable. Anticipate the admissions process to take at least 15 minutes to explain the paperwork and provide authorization/consent to treat. It is a good idea to arrive at least 15 minutes early so that you have an opportunity to review the paperwork you will be asked to sign.
