Specialty Program Outcomes

We are committed to providing quality services that enhance the overall independence of those we serve.  Below is a representative sample of the program outcomes we measure.  These outcomes represent the 12 months ending with December 31, 2011.

The Adaptive Computer and Communication Technology Program (ACCT)
  • Individuals served: 243 people
  • 100% of program participants planned to use their assistive technology at work, school or for personal needs to enhance independence or communication
  • Program participants received an average of 5.8 hours of training on equipment
  • 100% of program participants contacted were pleased overall with services received and would recommend to others.
  • 84% of program participants contacted continue to use their equipment and skills a year after discharge from the program.

 Drivers Evaluation and Training Program
  • Individuals served: 129
  • 60% of clients who were evaluated were recommended for driver training.
  • 67% of clients approved for driving had adaptive equipment recommended.
  • 96% of clients reached for follow-up have driven 90 days without an accident.
  • 100% of clients reached for follow-up have driven without a moving violation.
  • 95% of clients were satisfied overall with services received.
