Specialty Program Outcomes
We are committed to providing quality services that enhance the overall independence of those we serve. Below is a representative sample of the program outcomes we measure. These outcomes are for the period of July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
The Adaptive Computer and Communication Technology Program (ACCT)
- 243 people received ACCT services.
- 100% of program participants planned to use their assistive technology at work, school or for personal needs to enhance independence or communication
- Program participants received an average of 7.25 hours of training on equipment
- 100% of program participants contacted were pleased overall with services received and would recommend to others.
- 90% of program participants contacted continue to use their equipment and skills a year after discharge from the program.
Drivers Evaluation and Training Program
- 55% of clients who were evaluated were recommended for driver training.
- 58% of clients approved for driving had adaptive equipment recommended.
- 100% of clients reached for follow-up have driven 90 days without an accident.
- 100% of clients were satisfied overall with services received.
