Our program acts as a bridge for children who no longer require inpatient hospitalization but continue to need intensive rehabilitation therapy. Through day treatment, outpatient and school re-entry services our program provides critical services that address the immediate and long-term medical rehabilitation needs of the child and fosters their continued development and scholastic achievement.
Services include a combination of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy and are provided in a dedicated pediatric gym and classroom.
Pediatric Day Treatment Services
Assists children and their families with the transition from inpatient hospitalization to outpatient services. Therapy addresses basic self-care, health management, strength and endurance, safety in the home, family education and advocacy.
Adolescent Day Treatment Services
In addition to intensive therapy services, the program addresses educational needs and supports, risky behaviors, peer and adult interaction and vocational planning.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Less intensive than Day Treatment, these services helps children fine-tune or improve specific areas such as hand function, mobility or balance and may include a combination of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy.
