Adult Services
Our Adult Medical Rehabilitation Program helps individuals who have experienced a serious illness or injury resulting in a significant loss of physical and/or cognitive function regain lost abilities or learn new skills needed to be self-sufficient and engage in family, work and community life. A state-of-the-art facility with a large therapy gym, independent living apartment and advanced technology help individuals accomplish their goals.
Day Treatment Services
Intensive therapy (occupational, physical and speech) both individually and in groups daily, up to five days per week.
- Day Hospital addresses basic self-care, health management, strength and endurance, safety in the home, family education and advocacy.
- SAILS (Successful Adult Independent Living Skills) addresses physical and/or cognitive deficits related to living independently, home management such as grocery shopping, cooking, yard work, money management, community activities, self-advocacy and adjustment to disability.
Outpatient Services
Less intensive than Day Treatment, outpatient services help patients fine-tune or improve specific areas such as hand function, mobility or balance through a combination of physical, occupational and/or speech therapy.
Visual Services
Program provides therapy for visual treatment for individuals with vision changes due to aging, trauma or illness.
Wheelchair Evaluation/Seating Assessment
Helps individuals determine if they would benefit from using a wheelchair for mobility and provides recommendations on the type and size of wheelchair, as well as seating and positioning devices.
