Medical Rehabilitation | Admissions Criteria
We provide services to children and adults who experience a disability impacting their activities at home, school or work and who may reasonably be expected to benefit from our services. We are committed to serving a diverse population and do not restrict acceptance for services due to age, sex, creed race, religion or cultural background.
In addition to having a physician’s prescription for services all individuals must:
- Have a diagnosis of a disability, illness or injury resulting in a change in their previous functional daily activity status.
- Have a reasonable expectation for greater functional independence, the ability to achieve goals and show progress.
- The potential to comprehend and cooperate with the plan of care.
- Be medically stable.
Common diagnoses considered for patient admissions include:
- Amputation
- Brain Injury
- Cerebral Vascular Accident
- Cerebral Palsy
- Complicated Orthopedic Conditions
- Multiple Musculoskeletal Trauma
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Spina Bifida
- Stroke
