Professional Staff

Our 123 member team of professionals and support staff bring our mission of building brighter futures for children and adults with disabilities to life.  The experience and training of our medical rehabilitation and employment placement team is very extensive. 

Adult Medical Rehabilitation Program
Our staff includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, a recreational therapist, social workers, case manager/vocational liaison, psychologists, registered nurses and an admitting specialist.  All maintain certification and/or licensure according to their professional field’s requirements and state standards. 

Pediatric/Adolescent Medical Rehabilitation Program
Our program staff includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, a social worker, a nurse case manager, psychologists, a licensed practical nurse and a classroom teacher.  All professionals are licensed in their fields and have extensive experience in providing medical rehabilitation and related services to disabled children.

Employment Services
Our staff includes a Service Manager, Employer Development Specialists and Employment and Training Specialists.  All have experience in human services, marketing or sales and an acquired knowledge of local labor market data and employer needs/expectations.  Employment and Training Specialists have a minimum of four years of successful work experience in human services organizations, plus several years of experience teaching job tasks.

R.I. Industries (Sheltered Workshops)
Our team staff three program sites and include an operations manager, a program manager, assistant facility managers, production supervisors, certified occupational therapy aid, business development specialists, a quality assurance officer, a receptionist, a janitor and a truck driver.   The operations manager and program manager have education and training specific to working with individuals with severe developmental and/or psychiatric disabilities. 

Neuropsychology Services/Family Services
Staff consists of Licensed Psychologists, social workers and a Psychometrician. All staff has degrees in their field.

Adaptive Technology
The staff includes licensed speech-language pathologists, licensed occupational therapists and a degreed assistive technology instructor.

Driving Evaluation and Training Services
Our staff includes a program coordinator who is an occupational therapist, and a part-time driving instructor.   All have received specialized training in driving rehabilitation.
