Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation; Subspecialty of SCI Medicine; and in Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine and Master of Rehabilitation Medicine from University of Washington and Master of Health Services Administration from University of Kansas. He is on the medical staff of St. Joseph Medical Center, Research Medical Center, Menorah Medical Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Nicole McCartan, MD

Pediatric/Adolescent Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Services
Dr. McCartan is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her Doctor of Medicine from University of Missouri – Columbia. She specializes in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine with special interest in Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Spinal Cord Injury. She is on staff of Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Terrie L. Price, PhD, ABPP

Director of Neuropsychology and Family Services
Dr. Price is certified by the American Board of Professional Pyschologists. She received her PhD in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Behavior Medicine-Neuropsychology, from University of Kansas. She is serving or has served in leadership roles for the following organizations: Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (President); Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City; International Neuropsychological Society, American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers; American Psychological Association, and Greater Kansas City Psychological Association. She was a contributing author for The Missouri Green Book: Living with Traumatic Brain Injury and Educational Directions for Students with Traumatic Brain Injury. Published articles to her credit include: Life satisfaction of people with SCI Traumatic Head Injury Cause Consequences and Challenge; and Testing Adults: A Reference Guide for Special Psychodiagnostic Assessments.
