Capital Campaign

  • Every great city has a great medical and vocational rehabilitation provider. In Kansas City, that provider is the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City (RIKC).  Our Rebuilding Lives; Restoring Hope Campaign is our first major fundraising initiative since the 1960’s.  The effort will enable us to make significant facility enhancements so that we can accommodate increasing patient and client admissions and expand services.

The $7,000,000 campaign will support the following:

    • Expanded Therapy Treatment Areas
    • Brain and Stroke Center of Excellence
    • Spinal Cord Injury Center of Excellence
    • Expanded Adaptive Technology Center
    • More Private Treatment Rooms
    • New Aquatic Therapy Pool
    • New Robotic Therapy Technology
    • New Community Resource and Education Center
    • Expanded Extended Work Adjustment Center (Sheltered Workshop Space)
    • Expanded Parking
    • Relocation of our Primary Entrance from Baltimore Avenue to Main Street
    • Increased Energy and Operational Efficiency
