ADAPTIVE COMPUTER AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM (ACCT)

ACCT is dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities opportunities for greater success, independence and productivity through the use of the assistive technology.  Our goal is to increase the self-sufficiency of children and adults who are living with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.

Through the identification, training and utilization of adaptive equipment, technology and devices, individuals with significant disabilities can communicate, attend school, secure or maintain employment and/or live independently. 

Our staff are trained to help individuals make informed decisions regarding technology options that will maximize their abilities despite their physical or cognitive limitation.   Services include the identification and training for:

• Augmentative and Alternative Communication
• Computer Access
• Home Modification Recommendations
• Work Ergonomics
• Technology for work, school or just keeping in touch with family and friends.
• Training on how to effectively use needed equipment.
