Medical Program Outcomes
We are committed to providing quality services that enhance the overall independence of those we serve. Below is a small sample of the program outcomes we measure. These outcomes are for the period of July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
Adolescent Program
- The average age of patients was 15 years.

The patients had the following diagnoses:
- Brain Injury - 34%
- Spinal Cord Injury – 9%
- Stroke - 3%
- Cerebral Palsy - 17%
- Other - 37%
- Patients participated in an average of 13.3 program days.
- Outpatients averaged 8.5 therapy hours.
- 95% of age appropriate patients completed transition to school.
- 100% of adolescent patients felt ready to return to school and activities with friends.
- 100% of parents were satisfied with the results their child achieved.
Pediatric Program
- The average age of patients was 6 years.

Patients had the following diagnoses:
- Head Injury - 30%
- Cerebral Palsy - 24%
- Neurology - 8%
- Spinal Cord Injury - 6%
- Other - 20%
- Day treatment patients participated an average of 20 program days.
- Outpatients averaged 28 therapy hours.
- 100% of age appropriate patients completed transition to school.
- 98% of parents were satisfied with the results their child achieved.
- 100% of patients were discharged home and 100% of those reached were still living at home 90 days later.
- 100% of patients under age 4 gave their program a “thumbs up” when asked if they liked their experience.
Adult Day Program
- The average age of Day Program patients was 55 years.

Day Program patient diagnoses:
- Stroke - 62%
- Brain Injury - 23%
- Spinal Cord Injury - 10%
- Other - 5%
- Patients participated in an average of 19 program days.
- 98% of Day Program patients were satisfied overall with the results they achieved.
- 100% of patients were discharged home and 100% of those reached for follow-up were still living at home 90 days after discharge.
- 100% of those with a goal of being able to return to managing their duties at home achieved that goal when asked 90 days after discharge.
- 99% of patients spent more time socially with friends at discharge than they did upon admission to the program.
Adult Neuro-Rehabilitation Outpatient Program
- The average age of patients was 51 years.

The patients in the program had the following diagnoses:
- Stroke - 33%
- Brain Injury - 29%
- Neurology - 16%
- Spinal Cord Injury - 10%
- Other - 12%
- Patients participated in an average of 10.5 hours of therapy
- 95% of patients' abilities to care for daily needs such as bathing & dressing had improved 90 days post discharge.
- 98% of patients were very satisfied with the outcomes they achieved.
- 100% of patients felt they were involved in planning their treatment plan and goals.
